Guarantee of quality
Haprotech Consultancy can identify potential quality problems at an early stage and prevent high costs later on. We provide support in describing and approving welding methods. Technical welding specifications stating what is to be achieved must be drawn up in order to be able to control the process correctly. All wishes and attention points such as welder qualifications, welding methods and scope of testing are described in a functional specification. A good functional specification can to a large extent prevent a lack of clarity and/or unexpected additional costs at a later stage! Haprotech Consultancy has a great deal of experience with drawing up specifications and can therefore specifically examine various attention points before production is started, the object being to eliminate risks and prevent a possible lack of clarity at a later stage. We can also support you in assessing the quality. We assess whether welders are suitable for carrying out particular work and/or whether the welding methods used are suitable – in other words, whether all conditions required to achieve the desired result have been met. Supervision
If the specification complies with the requirements set then production can start. However, questions and/or doubts can still arise along the way. In such cases the saying "Better to turn back halfway than to get completely lost" applies. We can offer support or give a second opinion, but we can also provide advice on how to solve any problem that may arise, including a suitable repair method if required. Checking
Failing to carry out checks is often regarded as a serious error on the part of the main contractor, who will be responsible for any repair costs. You can involve us if you want to have the work checked during the production stage. We have excellent relations with the various approval and certification institutes. At your request we will carry out on-site checks of your (sub)contractors both at home and abroad.

Setting up and/or maintaining a VCA system takes up a great deal of your precious time. Our safety expert has extensive experience with setting up and managing VCA systems and can quickly relieve you of a lot of work.
Safety adviser for hazardous substances
A company is obliged to appoint a safety adviser for hazardous substances if:
- it transports hazardous substances (quantities above the exemption limit of the ADR);
- and/or it packages, loads, fills or unloads hazardous substances directly before or after transportation.
The most important tasks of the safety adviser are:
- checking whether regulations concerning the transport, packaging, loading, filling and unloading of hazardous substances are being complied with;
- providing the company with advice about work relating to the transport, packaging, loading, filling and unloading of hazardous substances;
- drawing up an annual report about activities relating to the transport, packaging, loading, filling and unloading of hazardous substances;
- carrying out checks and providing information about the required procedures and the required training of personnel.
The safety adviser must be in possession of a suitable training certificate for the transport of hazardous substances. A safety adviser without this certificate is not acceptable. Smaller companies are not always able to employ a safety adviser. For this reason it is also possible to appoint a person to the function of safety adviser who is not a member of the company. This is on condition that this adviser actually does carry out these tasks.
