MIA subsidy scheme (Environmental Investment Allowance)
Lashuis Haprotech can show you how to apply for this subsidy and can help you with this if desired.
If you purchase a welding smoke extraction installation with filtration manufactured by Kemper, a percentage of the investment sum may be deducted from the profit in the calendar year in which the extraction installation is purchased. This means that you pay less tax.
The percentage is set at 40% for local extraction and 30% for central extraction.
VAMIL scheme (Random Depreciation of Environmental Investments)
The VAMIL scheme makes it possible to depreciate an investment in welding smoke extraction at a time chosen by you. How quickly you depreciate the installation is then up to you. ««The fiscal profit is reduced by claiming depreciation more quickly. This means that you will have to pay less income or corporation tax in the year in which you claim greater depreciation.
This naturally means that there is less to depreciate in following years. However, you do gain a liquidity and interest advantage because the tax due is deferred to the future. If you purchase an extraction installation with filtration you can make use of both schemes MIA + VAMIL.
Energy Investment Allowance If you purchase a permanent extraction installation that includes the option for automatic extraction capacity control, you are also eligible for the Energy Investment Allowance (EIA).
EIA and VAMIL may be used simultaneously, but EIA and MIA may not.
